The Nokia N70 is one of the handsets in Nokia's N-series lineup of smart phones. This phone is equipped with a 2-mega pixel camera with built-in flash, a front VGA camera to allow video calling, FM radio, Bluetooth, digital music player functionality, and support for 3D Symbian, Java games and other S60 2nd Edition software.
This phone works in triband (GSM 900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 2100 networks) and 3G connections for broadband-speed browsing - up to 384 kbps download / 128 kbps upload- and video calling, video downloads and video/music streaming. The 3G connection will allow you to access the internet via XHTML/HTML multimode browser (supports image maps, background images, and frames). Transfering data can be conducted via Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity
The Nokia N70 has an active matrix (176 x 208 pixels, 262,144 colours) screen and two well located cameras. The N70 is the first Nokia phone to break the 2 megapixel barrier. This phone is a powerful imaging device with a high quality camera with 2 megapixels which has a very powerful 20x digital zoom, an integrated flash and a choice of modes including scenery, portrait, night and sports. This phone allow its user to control camera settings such as brightness, white balance settings and colour tones. Nokia XpressPrint enables you to print photos directly to a PictBridge-compliant printer and a Movie Director application is supplied for editing videos. This phone also includes a second VGA camera (640 x 480 pixels ) with 2x digital zoom which can be used for video calling
The internal memory of the device is 30 Mbytes, with the addition of a 64 Mbyte MMC card which can be hot-swapped. The RealPlayer media player supports video playback in MPEG4 format, plus audio in a choice of formats including MP3, AAC, Real Audio, WAV and Nokia Ring Tones. The Visual Radio lets you listen to songs from radio stations, with information about the song and artist. A stereo headset is supplied as part of the sales package.
